I’ve been working on bits and pieces of my kitchen and it’s finally (almost) done. New carpet went in for $22, new fridge for $1300, stainless backsplash for $150, enamel and killz paint $20 and a cabinet redo that cost under $10. So I’ve completely redone my kitchen for under $1500. I am still planning on replacing our mismash of plates and bowls for around $50 and I’m looking at a anti-fatigue mat for $200. Once I make those purchases, my entire remodel will hit $1750. Not too shabby! I don’t have any before I started pictures, but here’s what I started with after some minor changes:
Cramped, 2 fridges to hold our food (neither EnergyStar, so they cost a small fortune to run) and mismatched everything. After some maneuvering and handmade trickery, here’s our result:
